Sah Hasim Khabar x Mah Bah Roufa
Legacy is super sweet and well mannered. He is very friendly and comes right up to you. He is always looking too see me and greet me. He willingly halters and walks very politely next to me and he has never hollered not once while I have walked him. He has never tossed his head or pulled away from me while walking. Legacy will not even court the girls unless you tell him it is alright to do so.
He loves to be scratched and loved on.
Finally this winter Legacy has gained alot of weight and muscle and looks just great. And finally I was able to get some good pictures of him.
Some of Legacys features are:
Long neck and good throat latch.
Short cannons even in the back legs.
Very graceful movements even just walking around. Moves like a cat.
Exotic face.
Good withers and hip.
Sweet, sweet personality.
Good self maintaining hooves.
Good height size.
Legacy's Strain
Legacy's strain is (according to Al Khamsa) Saqlawi Jirdan IBN Sudan / Ghazieh (pure 3 generations) there is other information that points Legacy's strain to Kuhaylan Jellabi / Jellabiat Feysul.

Sah Hasim Khabar X Mah Bah Roufa
A famous verse from a long poem by Beduin prince and poet Imru’ al-Qays al-Kindi (501-544 AD), where he describes his Arabian horse:
Lahu aytala zabyin wa-saaqa
na’amatin wa-irkha’u sarhanin
wa-taqribu tatfuli
In English (translation mine):
“He has the flanks of an antelope, the legs of an ostrich, the trot of a wolf and the gallop of a young fox.”
